Weekly oceanfront vacation cottages on Long Cove in Phippsburg, Maine — three private houses on 21 acres of pine forest and tidal water, about an hour north of Portland. Perfect for family reunions. A short stroll to a classic coastal resort. Great for Maine summer fun, where adults can relax and kids can be kids.
The property
Twenty-one acres at the end of the cove.
Guests are surrounded by a private pine forest, a winding creek that empties into Long Cove, and a quiet ocean cove. A signed trail system leads to two lookouts over Casco Bay — one 200 feet above the sea, one at the water’s edge. A ramp and float give every cottage private access to the sea.
On the tide
Kayak, paddle-board, or wade a sandy beach at low tide. Twelve-foot tides rewrite the cove twice a day.
Private forest
Bumper Trail and the lookouts are at the back door. Morse Mountain and Seawall Beach are a short drive.
A week, unrushed
Linens and cleaning included. Loaner bikes, on-site laundry, remodeled kitchens. Saturday to Saturday.

The Ice House
Sleeps one or two on a trundle that converts to twins — or serves as a quiet office. An extra kitchen and full bathroom. Rented only with the Boathouse or Still Meadow, so the cove stays uncrowded.

A week at the cove
Saturday to Saturday, the Maine way.
Arrive Saturday at 4:00 pm. The cottages are made up. Walk the trails, take the float at high water, grill on the lawn. Sebasco Harbor Resort is a short stroll for golf and a swim. Popham Beach is fifteen minutes. Leave Saturday at 10:00 am — cleaning is on us.

Still Meadow & Ice House · July 19–26
“One of our most magical trips to Maine.”
No small feat with three young kids. Everything we needed was here, and then some — a thank-you to Callie for the bread, the welcome note, and the flowers. We explored off the dock, played croquet, walked the trails, grilled family dinners, rinsed off beach days at the outdoor shower, and spent hours on the screened porch making friendship bracelets and puzzling. We're excited to come back next year.
