The Cottages

Mr. Brown’s Boathouse

Built in 1920 by local craftsmen, this magnificent structure straddles Long Cove - known locally as Smugglers’ Cove for its colorful Prohibition era past - and features a 30’ x 30’ living room with an imposing stone fireplace, three bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a large screen porch with a western view. Immediate access to Casco Bay is afforded by the property’s float. Our 12-foot tides mean that at low tide the cove becomes a sandy beach and wading location. A creek runs through the property and under the Boathouse where it enters the ocean. For more photos of our cottages go to Photos.

Still Meadow

Formerly a horse barn, this carriage house was converted to a three bedroom home decades ago. Nestled next to an expansive, private forest with a new trail system, this cozy cottage with a fun loft space and large screen porch has been completely updated but retains its quiet charm and distinctive character.

The Ice House

This sturdy, one-room structure features a full kitchen and bath. It overlooks the creek.

The Ice House can sleep one or two with a trundle bed that converts to two twins, or can serve as a quiet office. It is not rented separately but is available as an add-on for guests in the Boathouse or Still Meadow.
